Summer Success at Two Two Fly

Three Peaks Challenge is Now Complete
July 20, 2015

I’m really pleased to announce that on  1st of July I leased Stoke Airfield for Two Two Fly’s sole use.

Stoke Airfield is on the Isle of Grain and is located near Rochester in North Kent. Due to it’s location the airfield offers amazing views of the Medway and the Thames Estuary.

The airfield has previously been a home to the Raven and remains a factory base for the Clipper and SLA Microlights.

Stoke will become a major centre of operations for Two Two Fly as the airfield already has catering, WiFi and ground school facilities in addition to plenty of hangar space for both Flex and Fixed wing microlights. I’m also planning on offering refuelling services for planes in the near future.

Also, and importantly in my view, Stoke Airfield will have all the ground support required for wheel chair using pilots (and obviously access to our wheel chair accessible microlights).

By bringing Stoke Airfield into the Two Two Fly group, our airfields and club now have locations in Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Essex and Kent. This means we are able to offer microlight piloting to many people in the East of England.

I’m also pleased to announce that Stoke Airfield will be host to an open weekend on the  25th and 26th of July. Keep your eyes on my newsletter and blog for more details as they emerge. There will be camping available. Come along and bring your family and friends, everyone is welcome.

In the mean time please feel free to drop by.
